Question 1. What are the best storage and dispatch temperatures for Amaryllis bulbs?

Answer:
- 13-17°C at 70-75% air humidity
- Make sure there is good air circulation

Question 2. What is the best temperature to get an Amaryllis to bloom?

Answer:
- Ensure room temperature is at least 20°C
- Ensure the Amaryllis bulb is placed in a very light place


Question 3. How do I get an Amaryllis bulb to bloom around Christmas?

Answer:
Amaryllises need a period of rest, a winter period, to bloom. It is possible to bring forward blooming by cold-treating the bulbs at T. van Nieuwkerk Amaryllis after harvesting. You can request this preparation per set.
